Tras una reciente sesión den 2.000$/4.000$ de Limit Holdem entre Phil Ivey y «IhateJuice«, tuvo lugar una interesante charla entre los dos jugadores. En esta sesión, Phil terminó con una pérdida de 10.000$. La conversación fue la siguiente:

IHateJuice: i cant tell on that sample. i play ur name
Phil Ivey: i think we both know u are better than me at this game
Phil Ivey: but i play anyway so u should be thankful
Phil Ivey: if u played me horse i would b thankful
IHateJuice: will take me a year or two though
No está claro si Ivey sólo quiere más acción o realmente está admitiendo que alguien es mejor que él.
